Would you like to host a talk with Freya during her solo sail around UK and Ireland?

Freya Terry is currently solo sailing around the UK and Ireland to raise awareness of mental health. Her intention is to sail the coast of the UK and where possible, go ashore and talk to youth/community groups about the importance of maintaining good mental health.

Whilst she is sailing around Cornwall, she would welcome the opportunity to share her story with groups in or around her passage through Padstow, St Ives, Newlyn and Falmouth.

She is planning to be in:

  • Padstow on 13th May
  • St Ives on 16th May
  • Newlyn on 18th May
  • Falmouth on 20th May

You can contact Freya via her website www.she-sails.co.uk

Freya is a young lady from Newport, Pembrokeshire. As she grew up and attended secondary school, she began to experience mental health issues which became more troubling as time went on. Freya also discovered a passion for sailing and through this, has recovered to be able to tell her story and, to inspire others to know that it is ok to ask for help and that mental health needs to be treated as a priority.
