Walking Tennis
I’m a LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) Accredited+ level 3 coach offering a walking tennis session on Friday mornings at 11am – 12pm at St Austell Tennis Club.
It’s open to adults of all ages, both those with mobility issues and those who can’t or don’t want to do exercise involving running for whatever reason. It’s intended to be a relaxed, social session that is ideal for people who are new to tennis as well as those who’ve played before, although it is slightly different to the tennis most people will be familiar with, primarily in the fact the ball can bounce twice.
Anyone is welcome to come along and try a 1 hour walking tennis session for free to see if they like it with no obligation to continue. It’s a pay as you go session that is £5 for club members and £6 for non members. Booking is required.
