Tech4Good has selected Made Open as a finalist in their Ageing Society award.
Made Open are a Creative England Top 50 Company and the technical partners behind the Cornwall Link. It is through shared community values, a commitment to enabling communities to be their own drivers of change and the brilliant skills of the Made Open team that the Cornwall Link is made possible and we are delighted to hear that their work has been recognised in this way.
The award is looking for inspiring examples of digital technology that can help to address the challenges of an ageing society by improving the quality of life of older people in sustainable ways.
Speaking about the nomination, Director of Made Open, Robert Woolf said:
“The guiding principle behind our company is to design services that help communities become more resilient. Recently we’ve been working with healthcare professionals who have told us they would like to be able to refer patients to community-based activities and support services. In response to this demand, our new platform enables ‘social prescribing’ referral pathways.”
The Tech 4 Good awards ceremony is being held at the BT Centre in London on the 17th July.
