To mark the start of a collaboration between the two community platforms, Ask Cornwall and Cornwall Link, we will be hosting a monthly talk centred around health and wellbeing in Cornwall, joined by key speakers in the sector. The purpose of the talk is to signpost to established services (What Cornwall has) or identify needs in the county (What Cornwall needs).
The talk is open to all to join in!
In May – Mental Health Awareness Month – we’ll be talking about mental health services.
The talk will be led by Healthwatch Cornwall (platform managers of Ask Cornwall), Cornwall Link and Age UK Cornwall. We'll be joined by honoured key speakers who will be talking about their projects and services, as well as joining in the conversations. You can also use this opportunity to ask them questions.
Our Key Speakers
For this month, we’re honoured to be joined by the following organisations:
The talk will be an open discussion with questions posted on the Healthwatch Cornwall and Cornwall Link Twitter profiles. The last segment of the chat will be dedicated to our key speakers who will talk about their services and be posed for Q&A.
JOIN IN THE CONVERSATION
The talk will be hosted on Twitter on Friday 22nd May at 3pm to 4pm. To get involved, follow @Cornwall_Link and @HWCornwall profiles to see the conversation threads. Join in the conversation using #Cornwallmentalhealth & tag us all into your comments.
The conversation will continue over on www.askcornwall.co.uk if you would like to talk more or were unable to attend our Live Q&A.
Please note the purpose is not for clinical advice but signposting and idea generation.
