What is a Volunteer?

Terry Bolt, a local Volunteer who runs the Blokes that Brunch in Saltash, has written this wonderful story ‘What is a Volunteer?’ for community stories on Cornwall Link  – read the article in full here. What is a Volunteer?

Ruby Tuesdays, a ladies lunch club, and Blokes that Brunch, a men’s lunch club, were originally set-up under the Living Well project, and continue to follow the foundations of Living Well in action.

Both groups encourage social engagement for isolated people or individuals that want to try something new in a comfortable setting that provides a safe, low cost, friendly and welcoming environment.

Jill and Terry who run the groups are very experienced Volunteers with a history of supporting groups & charitable organisations across Cornwall.
