Age UK Cornwall is supporting the Age UK Cornwall Football Walking League.
They are sponsoring the League as part of their 50th Year Birthday Celebrations #GoForGold - which includes a raft of celebratory events that inspire people and communities to age well.
The League welcomes FA Affiliated team members (male and female) aged 50 years and over. Please do get involved, get active and register with the League today.

Walking Football takes a step forward in Cornwall with the new Age UK Cornwall Walking Football League.
Walking Football, a slower-paced version of the beautiful game, has within Cornwall over the last few years, with 16 Walking Football teams now established within Cornwall. The new Age UK Cornwall Walking Football League will welcome FA Affiliated teams with members aged 50 years and above. The league will operate in the East and West of the County with Launceston College and Camborne College being the sites used for the league.
East (Launceston College) & West (Camborne College) League Dates:
- Sunday 12th June - 2pm to 5pm
- Sunday 10th July - 2pm to 5pm
- Sunday 14th August - 2pm to 5pm
Following the leagues dates, a central venue finals day will be held in September (date – TBC).
Cornwall FA Football Development Officer Joshua Stockdale said, “it’s great to see Walking Football continue to develop and the introduction of the new league will help provide further opportunities for even more players to get involved in what is an ever-growing community of Walking Football within Cornwall”.
