Cornwall Care - Headlands, Carbis Bay
Headlands is a 32 bed care home for older people in need of residential support. We care for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in a supportive, dignified and friendly environment. Our staff promote independence and understand different illnesses. They are highly trained and passionate about their roles and the lives of our residents.
Perfectly situated in the beautiful Carbis Bay area near St Ives; it benefits from wonderful panoramic sea views and has two lovely gardens, one a lovely, large, open space and the other a pretty but secure garden off one of the wings. There are also some nice, cosy social spaces inside for relaxing and getting involved in events and activities. Headlands has an energetic, family-friendly feel to it.
Individuality and independence are important to us; everyone living with us has the freedom to do what they want to do, when they want to do it. Our residents bake, play games, take part in activities and love the ‘Drummer Man’ when he visits! We also love to visit the beach, shops and nearby cafes, as well as listen to the members of the local church when they visit each week to conduct religious services. We have lots of fun things to do!
Every week, our Activities Co-ordinators will prepare a list of organised activities. If you would like to find out more or get involved, please contact a member of our team at Headlands.
