Eden Project Virtual Community Camp is happening in October 2021!
Eden Community Camp brings people who care about community together virtually, to share, connect and learn from each other’s recent experiences and to build confidence to take small steps to do good things where they live.
Who is This Community Camp For & What to expect?
Community Camp is two days of joy, learning, inspiration and sharing with the aim that participants will grow confidence, friendship and support that remains long after the camp has ended. It is a completely free experience, thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund and will take place on the 1st & 2nd October 2021.
Camp will offer a mix of practical activities, workshop sessions and networking opportunities for people from across the UK. Our Community Camps currently take place online and for our next Camp in October, we'll be piloting a new concise delivery model, designed for newcomers who want to get started.
Bear in mind that this particular Camp is a new model, tailored to help inspire and support anyone new to community activity - at the start of the journey. So, if that doesn't sound like you, don't worry there will be other Community Camps that are more suited for people who have already set up a project a few years ago or may be well-versed in community action.

A little extra info
Community Camps are specifically for the benefit of voluntary community members, and unfortunately, we're unable to allocate funded places to people who are applying as part of a paid community role, or those who have attended either a camp at Eden or online before.
