Foraging Walk & Talk around Pendower
You are invited to come and join us for a half-day, free event of fun and learning, on Thursday 28th October from 10am-1pm, in the beautiful setting of Pendower, Cornwall. We will be celebrating our connection with nature, each other and exploring the joys of wild food, led by expert forager and creator of Never Mind The Burdocks, Emma Gunn.
Meeting just before 10am in the Pendower Beach National Trust Car Park, Emma will give us the Do's & Don't of foraging, we will then explore nature's larder on a two-hour, circular walk whilst following and learning from Emma as we go. This is a great opportunity to learn from the expert herself and to tap into Emma's vast depth of knowledge collated since childhood, through horticultural college training and research and into her many years of experience.
Once back at the car park we will have hot drinks available to warm your cockles, and Emma will offer a picnic of nibbles made up of some of her pre-prepared foraged foods. Please feel free to bring your own picnic lunch along if you would like to. And remember to wear clothing and footwear that is suitable for two-hours walking, and all weathers and temperatures. We should be finishing up by around 1pm.
