WHEN: It is open every Saturday morning 10-12am.
Hayle Foodbank was set up by volunteers, including members of the Labour Party, Churches Together, local businesses and the Town Council.
The foodbank relies on support from the local community through donations of food items, financial gifts and volunteer time. All the supplies in the foodbank store are either donated by the local community: churches, supermarket collections, schools, individuals, and businesses, or purchased using cash donations. A network of local agencies refer people in crisis to the foodbank, where they will find a non-judgmental environment and be offered an emergency donation of food. People referred receive a voucher entitling them to 3 x 1 weeks supply of food.
