Making Work Work for Everyone
7 September 2022, 9.30am to 4pm The Atlantic Hotel, Newquay, TR7 1EN
Be part of the discussion on how policy and business can make work work for everyone.
Join our researchers and guest speakers, Dame Carol Black and Dr Christian van Stolk as we talk about the findings of The Inclusivity Project and how we can apply learning on a practical level. We focus on our three key areas of work:
• Bias and inclusive recruitment
• Hybrid and flexible working
• Systems thinking: closing the skills gaps
We consider how our findings from the Cornish small business community can be applied to policy and business on a national level, to produce tangible positive change in the workplace.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities for networking and discussion too, over lunch and drinks.
Finally, there will be an exhibition of The Inclusivity Project’s participatory photo project featuring work by people in Cornwall who balance their work with managing a health condition.
A full agenda will be available prior to the event.
Who’s this event for?

✓ SMEs – Owners, management and HR
✓ Policymakers
✓ Local government
✓ Researchers and academics
✓ Anyone with an interest in inclusivity and bias
✓ Anyone with an interest in hybrid working.
