Well-being services supporting those vulnerable in St.Columb, St.Ervan, St.Eval and St.Mawgan.
The Oasis Centre, based in shop front premises in St Columb Major, Cornwall UK, is a registered charity and a voluntary community organisation working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organisations in the area. We are a multi-faith and multi-ethnic organisation that builds on our Foundation of Christian values, helping to strengthen and support all those in our local communities.
The Oasis Centre is managed by a group of local people, governed by a Constitution. The Centre was also established in 2008 and the Constitution states that its purpose is to relieve persons resident in the parishes of St. Columb, St. Ervan, St. Eval, St. Mawgan and surrounding areas who are in a condition of need, hardship, distress, ill-health, disability and other disadvantage.
Our Cafes
We run two Wellbeing Cafes, which provide entertainment and social activities for all, as well as a helping hand to find support when needed from outside agencies. They offer a place to meet others, relax and share experiences over a cup of tea or coffee. They are for everyone of any age, whether you are new to the area, feeling lonely, tired or fed up, or just in need of some company. They provide a cosy and warm atmosphere which is safe, welcoming and friendly. There are light refreshments, board games, arts and crafts, people to talk to and occasional speakers and entertainment. We have monthly outings to places chosen by our members.
To add, we run a weekly Chill and Chat session for parents and toddlers, allowing them to relax and enjoy music, conversation and cake.
St. Eval Cafe

Every Wednesday, 10:30am till 2:30pm
What We Do There: Every Wednesday, the space is filled with friendly chatter while everyone catches up on the week’s events, browses through the newspapers or joins a friendly board game. We also have art and crafts tables for those with a keen interest or for those who just want to have a go at something new. Or why not spend some time in our wellbeing garden where you can help grow produce, potter in the shed and enjoy a BBQ in the summer.
At lunch time you are welcome to enjoy a wonderful two course lunch prepared by our own cooks. In the afternoon while lunch is settling we generally offer a friendly quiz or bingo.

What We Do There: We invite you to join us at the St Columb Wellbeing Café. We are looking to introduce some fun activities such as gentle exercise, sing-a-longs, quizzes and more.Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy some light entertainment.
Oasis Family Hub
St Columb Bowling Club, West St, St Columb Major, Saint Columb TR9 6RX
Our aim is to bring families in the local community together to build friendships, support each other and share knowledge.
Our baby and toddler group is free to attend, thanks to funding raised by The Oasis Centre and via donations from attendees.
We offer refreshments & a sweet treat, plus a snack for the children free of charge. Donations are welcome and any money donated goes straight back into the activities and families who attend the sessions.
We have created a warm, inviting, social space for families and their little ones to come meet new friends, have a play with a variety of toys from roleplay areas, construction, craft, music and so much more whilst parents chat over a warm drink.
There is limited free parking but we are next to the car park which is £2 for 2 hours.
