Launceston Community CCTV Committee and Devon and Cornwall Police are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join an existing team of volunteer CCTV operators who are helping to protect Launceston Town Centre against anti-social behaviour, theft, burglary, and general crime.

We are looking for a regular monthly commitment of volunteering. In return you will receive on the job training and an opportunity to join a small team of dedicated volunteer CCTV Operators.  You will work in partnership with local police officers, passing on information about incidents as they occur and assist with giving descriptions of those involved. An eye for detail and good decision-making skills are a must for this role.

Mileage expenses for personal vehicles will be paid at 45p per mile

We would not consider applications where the applicant lives more than 25 miles from the base location for this role
