Wadebridge Cancer Cafe
Wadebridge Cancer Cafe is for anyone living in the Wadebridge area affected by cancer. If you have a diagnosis, are on active treatment or in remission; if you are a family member or friend of someone with cancer; if you have been bereaved due to a cancer, you are all very welcome.
We are a non-clinical, social group who thrive on coffee and chat.
Social Prescribers and the Care Coordinator from Wadebridge Surgeries often join us.
Information about many aspects of cancer are available: however, the group is first and foremost a chance to be with and talk with people in a simiar situation to you.
It is hosted at the John Betjeman Centre (Concern Wadebridge) in partnership with Age UK Cornwall & Isles of Scilly and Macmillan.
Cancer Cafe open 10- 30 to 12.30 on the second and fourth Friday of each month and is free of charge.
The Betjeman Centre has many other activities on offer and a lovely cafe if you want to stay for lunch.
