Guide Dogs is calling on Cornwall residents to join a community of virtual steppers next month (May), to help raise vital funds for the charity’s life-changing services.

The Walk Your Socks Off challenge asks people to set their own step target in a chosen week in May, which you can accomplish within your own home and under current government guidelines.

You can take part as a household or challenge your friends and family to join a virtual stepping group, helping you all to keep fit, healthy and connected whilst so many of us are apart.

Participants will be asked to raise at least £100 to help people with sight loss live the life they choose. In return the charity will replace your worn-out socks with an exclusive Guide Dogs pair.

Please note, this listing has been added by a member of the community in good faith and in accordance with the T&C’s of use. Cornwall Link site operators are not responsible for the quality of the information or service listed. We implore people to stay safe and vigilant during this time.
