We are a small charity that owns a building in the centre of Launceston Town and rent office space to local businesses to sustain the building and the Charity. Various organisations that benefit the community are given free use to CAB / PensionWise / Volunteer Cornwalll/The Hangout Youth Club and Launceston Street Pastors.  Due to Covid 19 many small groups have found they have no premises open to them, we have welcomed them and do not charge.  Currently working with DWP, Launceston Money Wise, The Gateway Centre, Salvation Army and  Step into Learning to provide excellent support to those who may be unemployed due to Covid. There is a weekly information and support session at The Gateway Centre from 10-1 where benefits advice, assitance with job searches, CV writing and information on free courses as well as Money Advice expertise.  please see their facebook page this is by appointment only     https://www.facebook.com/Launceston-Community-Project-107495947792513 

On Sunday's from 2-4 we have a Support Group offering support to the unemployed (laptops available for job searches or CV writing) as well as lonely, isolated people - we are dementia friendly. Tuesday's 10-12 we have a Dementia Support Group both at The Orchard Centre - please note we have drop off space but no parking.  Regulations mean no more than 15 may be in a group.   Social distancing is still required as are mask or visor on entry and QR/ Track and Trace regulations. Supported by Cornwall Community Foundation and the group at The Gateway is supported by Tesco and The National Lottery.
