Support services for unpair carers

Promas Caring for People CIC is a charity organisation that provides support services for unpaid carers who, despite the demanding nature of their role, which is usually full-time, often receive minimal support or respite. Their mission is "to ensure that every carer is valued and has access to the emotional and practical support they need to manage their caring role." They aim to achieve this by delivering a variety of free services, ranging from educational courses, such as "Coping Strategies," to relaxing social activities, with the intention of addressing the diverse needs of carers, whether those are physical, psychological, or other. Since 2011, when the Community Interest Company first launched, Promas has continued to expand its operations. They now have more than 12 members, and offer over 14 courses and a range of social activities.
