Two Generations CIC is a social enterprise that supports people who can benefit from companionship and help around the house and who have a spare room, by matching them with a carefully vetted Homesharer. There are very clear safeguarding measures in place including DBS checks and references. Two Generations remain in contact with the householder and homesharer throughout the homesharing period to ensure it is going smoothly.
Homesharing forms the key bridge between people who live fully independently and those who require full time care. We are suitable for anyone who feels isolated and less independent as years go by and want to delay leaving their home; many of Two Generations’ homeshares work alongside and compliment an existing care provision.

Improved physical health - by having someone else do tasks that might risk injury, for example as part of home maintenance
Affordability - Two Generations Homeshare is significantly cheaper than care, and we have a bursary scheme for those unable to afford it.
Support to their unpaid carers - by providing ongoing support and breaks from caring duties
