Parish Council Services & HAIRE Project (Healthy Ageing through Innovation in Rural Europe

We are very lucky to have another wellbeing project running in our Parish, known as HAIRE (Healthy Ageing through Innovation in Rural Europe). Community Connect still continues to successfully operate in the Parish, supporting those who are vulnerable.

HAIRE, which started in Summer 2020, is an EU project, part funded by Feock Parish. Working in association with the University of Exeter, we are looking to facilitate the bringing together of older people (age 60+) and offering new opportunities for people to want to get out and about, volunteer in our community or have concerns about where they live and the services provided to help them age healthily. Through this project we aim to reduce isolation and loneliness.
