MHA Communities Cornwall provides a number of activities for older people to enable them to live later life well.  We have groups running:

• This is me (dementia support group) – TR14 8RQ – every Monday (not Bank Holidays) 2pm to 4pm
• All Saints Friendship Group – TR14 8RQ – every Tuesday from 10am to 12 noon
• Bowling Group – TR14 8RQ – every Tuesday 1pm to 3pm
• Supported Outings (from Saltash area) – 2^nd Tuesday 10am to 4pm
• DECAF (Saltash Memory Café) – PL12 4RH - 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday 2pm to 4pm
• Probus Friendship Group - TR2 4NB – 1^st Thursday 10am to 12 noon
• Supported Outings (from Camborne area) – 3^rd Thursday 10am to 4pm

For members unable to join in with groups or outings we offer:

• Our trained staff carry out an assessment, support plan and reviews
• All members receive a Welcome Pack, quarterly Newsletters, Birthday and Christmas cards (unless they opt out of any of these)
• Information signposting and referral to other organisations
• Free Will service
• MHA Later Life Hub information
• MHA Active app (basic access)

We also offer face to face befriending where volunteers are available in the local area.  Unfortunately, there are never enough volunteers for the number of members requesting this, so we are only able to accept referrals where we already have a volunteer or are currently recruiting.  Telephone befrienders are usually available through MHA Central Befriending via the MHA website ( https://www.mha.org.uk/communities/befriending/ )
