We are a national charity (see ABandOfBrothers | Helping young men grow with purpose) supporting men aged 18-25 who are looking for purpose and meaning in their lives. Although the focus of ABOB is to support those men involved with the criminal justice system we also support those 'at risk' of involvement through mental illness, addictions, care leavers, autism/ aspergers, homelessness etc.
We have a Band of Brothers in Penzance and also one in Falmouth.
Pre Covid we run a residential weekend followed by a 12 week 1:1 mentor program and weekly Wednesday 'check-ins' with our community of local volunteer men. Since Covid we have had to adapt and now offer a 1:1 mentor program for 10 weeks (on zoom/ tel/ outside meetings/ inside as rules allow) focusing on relationships, finances, addictions, wellbeing etc on a weekly basis of about an hour or two.
Our next mentor program starts Jan 2021 and we are looking for referrals. Please refer through this secure link www.tiny.cc/abobreferral and/ or call me on 07813 900905.
Thank you.
