We are offering supported training placements to learn a range of practical food-related skills here on the farm; from plant-to-plate! We will also help you to develop work-ready qualities through a combination of team-work, mentoring and job-hunting assistance. No previous experience necessary, full training will be given.
No fees. Support with travel, childcare and suitable clothing may be possible, please speak to us.
Who Can Take Part?
This work experience will suit people who seek to work in retail, catering, farming, horticulture, gardening, conservation and may also help those interested in grounds maintenance. Applicants must be over 18 years old, unemployed or economically inactive and living in our priority Penwith areas. Contact us to find out more about this and other opportunities at Bosavern.
Where & When?
Held at Bosavern Community Farm, just outside St. Just TR19 7RD, attendance will be required on Tuesdays & Thursdays over 13 weeks with follow-on support for a further 3-6 months. *Contact us for start dates in 2021 and 2022.
