Callington Community Support
For those vulnerable in our community that are alone, without any friends or family network, help may be at hand. The Town Council is coordinating offers of support from some of our local volunatry groups to collect prescirptions and essential groceries to our residents. Please don't sit at home and worry, contact the town hall and we will do our best to assist you during this time.
Telephone 01579 384039 and leave a CLEAR message with your name, contact details and address.
Leave a message stating your name, address and phone number with your requirements.
Your message will be picked up by one of our Town Council staff, who are working remotely. Your call will be transferred to one of our Volunteer Group Organisers (Lions, Rotary, Battling-On, Churches Combined or Town Council Staff).
The Duty Organiser for that day will inform one of their volunteers of your message and you will be contacted by that volunteer. All volunteers have been issued with ID cards and receipt books. This is to prove they are genuine and that you can trust them. How you pay will be discussed between yourselves and the volunteer.
