Penberthy is a 33 bed residential home in Newquay for people with dementia and personal care needs. We care for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in a supportive, dignified and calming environment. Our staff promote independence and understand different illnesses. They are highly trained and passionate about their roles and the lives of our residents.
Penberthy sits on the top of a hill, a short walk away from the popular beaches of Newquay. It is lucky to boast of fabulous views across the sea, with many of our 33 rooms sharing these stunning views. Our communal areas are decorated for a homely feel and our private rooms are clean, warm and ready for our residents to personalise. We have a garden with outside seating and a lovely patio where residents can enjoy some fresh air and warmth in those gorgeous summer months.
Individuality and independence is important to us; we get to know what everyone enjoys and incorporate these activities into our themed evenings and special events.
Every week, our Activities Co-ordinator will prepare a list of organised activities which visitors can also take part in and we have regular visits from outside professionals as well. Our residents are also offered regular outings, such as going out shopping or taking a trip to the beach. If you wish to find out more or would like to get involved, please get in touch with our team at Penberthy.
