Redannick is a 41 bed residential care home for people in need of mental health and dementia support. We care for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in a supportive and dignified environment. Our staff promote independence and understand different illnesses. They are highly trained and passionate about their roles and the lives of our residents.
We care for people in need of mental health and dementia support. We pride ourselves on offering a loving environment where choice, respect and autonomy are paramount, so we are constantly assessing and reviewing the individual needs of every one of our residents. We provide day care to help newcomers settle in and adapt to life in our home. We always welcome visitors so we enjoy a lively and social atmosphere.
When residents join us, the first thing we do is develop a comprehensive care plan with them, setting out the care we aim to provide and how we will achieve this. We assess this plan on a continual basis, working with the resident to ensure that their needs are met.
Redannick is a spacious and sunny, purpose-built home in a residential area of Truro, just five minutes' walk from the city centre. We always have lots going on in our communal area, where we hold our activities and events, but we also have lots of areas for residents to find peace and quiet as well. We have four wings, each of which has a separate lounge, kitchenette, dining room and dedicated member of staff.
We have two lovely enclosed garden areas, one of which includes a wonderful eye-level pond, which can be located and easily accessed from Red wing and Orange wing. Orange wing also has a relaxing conservatory for our residents to enjoy.
