At Trewartha we care for people with dementia and nursing needs. We understand how important relationships are and we like to form close bonds with our residents, their families and friends. Treating people as individuals is at the heart of our care at Trewartha, which is why we encourage residents to personalise their rooms and why we tailor our care packages to the individual’s needs.
When residents join us at Trewartha, the first thing we do is develop a comprehensive care plan with them, setting out the care we aim to provide and how we will achieve this. We assess this plan on a continual basis, working with the resident to ensure that their needs are met. Care is available for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from a team of passionate individuals.
Trewartha was designed for the comfort of our residents. We have bright, spacious rooms and lovely big reception areas, a large conservatory that overlooks the inner garden and three lounges for when people need some quiet space to relax or chat with friends and relatives. We also have two lovely secure gardens, a great view of the beautiful Carbis Bay and some fantastic theme and sensory areas, such as our vintage sweetshop, cinema room and allotment, where residents can grow vegetables.
Our home is spacious and bright, with a team that love what they do. Trewartha is one of several care homes owned and operated by Cornwall Care, a not-for-profit charity and the largest provider of care homes in the county.
