At Woodland we care for people with dementia and residential needs. Our staff take the time to build loving, meaningful and supportive relationships with our residents and their families, encouraging their independence and individuality. As well as full-time care, we also offer day care from Monday to Friday. There is a real sense of fun in our home and our great team and residents add to the lovely family atmosphere. Visitors are always welcome.
When residents join us at Woodland, the first thing we do is develop a comprehensive care plan with them, setting out the care we aim to provide and how we will achieve this. We assess this plan on a continual basis, working with the resident to ensure that their needs are met. Care is available for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from a team of passionate individuals.
Woodland sits on the outskirts of St Austell, one of the largest towns in Cornwall. Designed all on one level for ease of access, Woodland has a comfortable communal dining room and three light, airy lounges for residents to relax in. There is also a gorgeous sensory garden, which we are very proud of, surrounded by beautiful trees and raised flowerbeds. It is quiet and enclosed, with fitted wooden handrails and benches that enable everyone a chance to enjoy some time in the sun.
