Equine Assisted Therapy
We have, since 2013, assisted persons with physical,mental or personality disabilities by way of working with a horse. No riding is required but many clients do ride after the sessions. Our website under "testimonials" gives details of many satisfied clients. Equine assisted Therapy (EAT)used in a variety of therapy fields; and horses can help people with physical issues, speech problems, behavioural issues, emotional problems, and other disabilities. Those that participate in such programs often express appreciation for the process, crediting their therapy with some later accomplishments. EAT is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach that has an incredible impact on individuals, youth, families, and groups. EAT addresses a variety of mental health and human development needs including Autism, ADHD,behavioural issues, attention deficit disorder, PTSD, substance abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship problems and communication needs.
