Repair cafes are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). You’ll find knowledgeable volunteers and the tools needed to help you repair your household items for free. Even if something cannot be fixed, it is useful to discover why – plus there is always coffee and cake!

A team of volunteers will help you to repair the items you bring in free of charge, although many people choose to make a donation to help keep us running.

Whenever possible, we will support you to repair the item yourself, this way we all learn something. Don’t worry, if you don’t feel comfortable doing something, we will help.

We are happy to help you with…

Clothes, Ceramics, Lamps, Radios, Clocks, Bicycles, Vacuums, Toasters, Electrical, Lawn Mowers, Woodwork and more…

We meet:

1st Thursday of the month, 6-8pm @ Temperance Hall, Penryn TR10 8BH

2nd Sunday of every month. 1:30-4pm @ Princess Pavilion, Falmouth TR11 4AR

Volunteer

If you have some repair skills and would be happy to share them with people for a few hours a month, please get in touch, we are always looking for more repairers.

If you don’t have repair skills, but are up for helping, we need volunteers for other roles such as meeting and greeting visitors, helping with tea and coffee, social media, publicity, recording what we repair at events etc.
