Happy Voices Singing Group (via Zoom)
Our group was set up by Sinead Kerr who works in the Complex Care and Dementia Service Team in Cornwall. Sinead and her colleague Matt set out to raise money by doing a Sky Dive for the group to be able to fund its initial start up. The Towan Blystra Lions first became aware of the group through Sinead, as one of their members was suffering with dementia. They were keen to get involved and have been very pro-active in keeping the group running with amazing volunteers and funding.
The group is open to all people who have memory issues or have been diagnosed with dementia. It is a fun, musical and social group that you just cannot help enjoying.
Since March we have moved the group onto Zoom and have a virtual sing along. It has been nice to keep in touch with some of our members this way.
If interested, please do get in contact so we can arrange a method for you to join us.
