Kernow Carers Service
Kernow Carers Service provides information, advice and guidance for informal, unpaid carers throughout Cornwall. by referring via the Family Information Service Helpline number - 0800 518 744, you are able to receive support from one of our Carer Support Coordinators. We are able to answer queries or offer signposting to other organisations. We will listen to your story and give information designed to support you in your caring role.
Support Available During the Current Covid-19 Situation
- Access to a Carer Support Coordinator Mon-Fri, 12pm-1pm on our Kernow Carers Service Facebook Page
- On the day call back service for carers who contact the Local Authority Access Team on 0300 1234 131 and are in need of priority support.
- Carers are being contacted via email, phone or letter and signposted to information that will help them access support in their local area if they are being affected by isolation.
- Carers Assessments will continue to be available via telephone.
- Referrals can be made via the Family Information Service helpline number which is 0800 587 8191 where you can leave a message or via email at [email protected]
