Newquay Foodbank
Opening times/referral procedures
Due to the Covid-19 crisis they may be operating with revised opening times, please contact them direct for further information or choose this link.
To access foodbank support, you must first obtain a referral voucher by contacting one of
our recognised agencies, some of which are included below.
If you cannot get in touch with the relevant agency or not sure who to go to, please get in
touch with us direct and we will refer you on as required or talk you through the next steps to access support.
We are currently operating a collection service. So, once you have your voucher, make your
way to any of our sites where your voucher will be exchanged for a food parcel:
Tuesday: 10:00-12:00 - St Columba Church, St Columb Minor, TR7 3EY
Friday: 12:00-14:00 - St Michaels Church, Newquay, TR7 1RA
Saturday: 10:00-12:00 - Oasis Centre, St Columb Major, TR9 6RH
If you are desperate and need food straight away, we can give one box on self-referral basis;
just attend the next Foodbank session. From there, we will refer you to an appropriate
agency to best support you.
Referral Agencies: Adult Social Care; Citizens Advice Bureaux, Community Mental Health
Team; Cornwall Housing; Disability Cornwall; DISC; Early Help Team; Health Visitors; Local
Churches (Newquay Methodist, Newquay Church of England, Salvation Army); Pivotal;
Probation Service; We Are With You (Used to be known as Addaction).
Cornwall COVID-19 Status:
Regular revisions to Government guidance may mean the information listed is subject to change. Age UK Cornwall and the IOS are continuously working with the community and members on Cornwall Link to keep the information as up to date as possible. While we do this in response to changing guidance, we would suggest you use the contact details in the listings to speak, and confirm, with organisers directly.
We thank you for your patience while we work on these updates. Please see our community COVID-19 Help page for more information on the regulations.
