A friendly meeting place for people with memory problems and their families and friends
Penryn Memory Cafe was set up in September 2015 to provide support to people living with dementia in the local community, including carers. It is a supportive, friendly and welcoming space in which everyone feels a sense of connection to their community. The cafe aims to encourage independence, socialising and cognitive stimulation.
We meet at 2pm every first and third Thursday of the month at the Penryn Temperance Hall, 32 Lower Market Street, sometimes with speakers, and always followed by tea and cake and bingo.
The Memory Cafe is a friendly meeting place for people with memory problems and their families and friends.
