Zumba with Abbie
I love dance and have been teaching Zumba since 2017. Zumba combines Latin and international rhythms with an uplifting and effective dance based workout.
I offer live online virtual classes on Zoom. I will offer in-person classes when lockdown restrictions allow.
Classes specialise in reggaeton and afrobeats to get you moving and having fun.
No dance experience is required! All abilities are welcome and there is no pressure to get steps right! Just log on, or come along and enjoy.
I am a fully qualified, licensed and insured instructor. I have also trained in Covid-safe procedures for in-person classes for group exercise with EMD and CIMSPA.
I work with the venues I teach at to create comprehensive risk assessments, ways of working and cleaning procedures to keep you safe during these uncertain times.
Please contact me to discuss any concerns or injuries before classes or for more details.
I understand that adapting to new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. People come to dance classes for lots of reasons - physical fitness, injury and illness rehabilitation, mental health, weight loss and much more.
My classes provide a physical work out but coming together (whether online or in person) to enjoy music and movement offers so much more for the mind, spirit and soul!
My classes are welcoming and for everyone. Just come and relax, there are no judgements on body sizes or shapes or dancing abilities. You can even turn your camera off if you like!
