About
Woodland Community Group
Friends of the Fal is a voluntary woodland community group based in Cornwall, founded in 2020. Our work focuses on Conservation, Community, and Children, restoring woodland and river habitats, protecting local heritage features such as historic leats, and creating opportunities for community volunteering and outdoor learning.
Through practical conservation work, habitat restoration, and environmental education, we aim to improve biodiversity, support community wellbeing, and provide a living outdoor classroom where people of all ages can connect with nature and local history.
