Our History
The Charity came into existence in 1996 as it was idenfied that there was a need to support one parent families in Cornwall. Tony and Liz Northcott are the founders of the Charity, and along with Janet Fernandez are at present the trustees.
The charity is a self support network run voluntarily by the trustees and the members of Cornwall One Parent Support Charity.
The charity is funded by fundraising, membership fees of £5 a family per school term and successful grant applications. There are no paid staff or offices.
With successful grant applications, membership fees and fundraising the charity is enabled to provide activities, outings and events. Cornwall One Parent Support activities and events are planned for the whole family with the help of our members in the decision making.
Membership Information
There is a membership form to complete and a fee of £5 a family per school term. The membership fee enables families to access the discounted activities, and helps towards the cost of running the charity.
If you would like to know more about becoming a member, or would like to join us, or have any questions about anything, please do not hesitate to contact Liz.
Guests welcome, please contact Liz in the first instance.
