Move More Cornwall
This Falls Prevention project is aimed at increasing physical activity amongst the most inactive people aged 60+ years in Cornwall. This project enables access to falls prevention, strength and balance classes for those who have previously fallen, or who are at risk of falling.
iCareiMove are collaborating with Public Health, Cornwall Council, Cornwall Foundation Trust, and Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly on a programme of Falls Management courses, delivered as a secondary falls prevention intervention.
This service has been described as “gold standard” by LaterLife Training and keeps people steady on their feet. Seen in Bodmin, Penzance, Camborne and now Truro.
