The Gateway Centre is a 10,000 sq ft building in the heart of Launceston.
A range of groups and activities takes place on a weekly basis within the building. The community centre is open seven days a week and can be used for a range of activities for individuals and groups. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

BOOKING A ROOM
We have various rooms within the building which can be hired out for events, clubs, groups and meetings.
We believe that the costs for hiring space at the centre should be kept low, with subsidised rates for charities and other not-for-profit groups available. All income for the Gateway Centre is re-invested into the running of the project.
We have the following rooms available to hire:
- Community Room (ground floor) – Can seat 50 in a conference style setting
- Conference Room (1st floor) – Can seat 18 around tables.
- Two meeting Rooms (1st floor and 2nd floor) – Both are ideal for smaller meetings or hot desking.
- The onsite cafe also hosts a free to use community table.
- There are various free activities that take place on the community table.
