Understanding Physical Activity & Cancer - FREE Workshops (x2)
Being physically active during and after cancer treatment can have multiple benefits including slowed disease progression, improved survival and reduced recurrence.
Physical activity helps cancer patients maintain their physical condition, can help improve psychological wellbeing and can reduce some consequences of treatment such as fatigue, anxiety and swelling.
This session will help you understand the topic of cancer and the help being physically active can provide.
This session has been arranged to coincide with Stress Awareness Month (April) & the upcoming Mental Health Awareness Week 10-16 May 2021.
