Inclusion Matters
We aim to reduce loneliness and social isolation to improve the Heatlh and Wellbeing for all adults living in Cornwall.
-
Do you have some time spare?
-
Could you help a lonely or socially isolated person?
- Could you help a person home from hospital?
Our fab team of Wellbeing Volunteers of all ages, provide social and practical support to individuals, for example:
- Call around for a chat or over the telephone.
- Drop of food, collect shopping and/or prescriptions.
- Assist with transport home or to appointments.
- Assist or accompany an individual to a social group or activity.
- Some provide peer support.
Our Wellbeing Volunteer Officer will co-produce with a supported client an action plan. Wellbeing volunteers will work within that action plan. All health and safety and other relevant policies/procedures will be implemented. We are fully flexible, so all volunteers choose their days, times and preferences.
Full training and DBS provided
