We help adults learn to read

The Read Easy Cornwall group is affiliated with the national charity Read Easy UK (No. 1151288).

We provide free, confidential, one-to-one coaching to adults who wish to improve their reading ability.  There are around 2.4 million adults in England who struggle to read, and around 25,000 in Cornwall.

If you know any adults in Cornwall who struggle to read, please help them to make contact us - by telephoning 07342 744 388 or via email to cornwallnetworker@readeasy.org.uk

Each Read Easy group is managed by local volunteers with the support of Read Easy UK. Each group is legally and financially independent (and responsible for their own local fundraising), while required to work within Read Easy’s robust structure, policies, and procedures. Read Easy UK provides oversight, resources, training, and advice to help volunteers establish effective and sustainable Read Easy groups in their area. Our support for groups means they can replicate a successful tried-and-tested model in their community and deliver a high-quality reading coaching service.
